What an incredible day on the greens! We just wrapped up an unforgettable 2026 Grand Slam Junior Tournament that brought together some of the most promising young golfing talent in the region. From the tiniest heavy-hitters in the under-6 categories to the seasoned strategy of our older teens, the competition was fierce, fair, and fiercely fun.

If you missed the action, here is a breakdown of how the day unfolded and a massive congratulations to our leaderboard toppers and special prize winners!
The Boys Division: Drama on the Fairways
The boys brought their absolute A-game, showing incredible composure across both the 18-hole and 9-hole challenges.
In the marquee Ages 16 and Over division, Ajani Ifill claimed the top spot after a stellar 18-hole performance. Meanwhile, the 13-15 division gave us one of the tightest battles of the day. Kaidon Bishop took home 1st place, closely chased by Connor Proudfoot in 2nd and Kalani Price securing a hard-earned 3rd.
The younger age groups proved that the future of golf is in very steady hands:
Ages 10-12 (9 Holes): Zane Ramsay-Greene's clinical performance earned him 1st place, with Jack Armstrong and Luke Stone rounding out the podium in 2nd and 3rd.
Ages 7-9 (9 Holes): Kyle Payne took the win, followed by Tristan Noble (2nd) and Arion Moseley (3rd).
Ages 7-9 (6 Holes): Max Carter clinched 1st, with William Went taking home a well-deserved 2nd place.
Ages 4-6 (6 Holes): This category saw Gabriel D'Orazio taking 1st place, showcasing some seriously impressive swings for his age!
The Girls Division: Excellence and Determination

Over in the Girls Division, we saw incredible sportsmanship and focus. Makiah Powlett put on a masterclass in the 10-12 Year Old (9 Holes) division to secure a fantastic 1st place finish.
This tournament also highlighted players who demonstrated exceptional skill, heart, and promise on the course through our Special Prizes:
Makayla Murrell (16 and Over, 18 Holes)
Neffertari Alleyne (13–15, 18 Holes)
Kyria Small (10-12, 18 Holes)
Tanae Jemmott-Carter (Ages 7-9 Beginner, 6 Holes)
Arielle Layne (Ages 4-6, 6 Holes)
More Than Just a Trophy
While the leaderboard tells one story, the real magic of the tournament was the camaraderie. Seeing players as young as four years old high-fiving their competitors, and older players offering tips to the younger ones, reminds us exactly why junior sports matter.
A huge thank you to the organizers, the parents who cheered from the sidelines (and carried many a heavy golf bag!), and the Barbados Golf Club for hosting us and providing such a fantastic venue for these young athletes.
The bar has officially been set high for the next event. To all our competitors: keep practicing, keep smiling, and we'll see you at the next tee-off!
