Girls Golf
Empowering Junior Girls Through Golf in Barbados.
The David Marshall Youth Golf Academy proudly hosts the first LPGA*USGA Girls Golf site in Barbados, creating a welcoming space for girls to learn, play, and grow through the game of golf. Our Girls Golf programme combines skill development with fun activities like “Bring a Friend Day,” team challenges, and interactive events that encourage camaraderie and confidence on the course.
Participants can also enjoy exclusive Girls Golf merchandise, making the experience even more special. With a focus on mentorship, community, and enjoyment, the DMYGA Girls Golf programme inspires young girls to explore their potential and love for the game.
Our programme is guided by the “Five E’s,” a framework that teaches vital life skills while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love for the game:
Empower – Expand horizons through golf knowledge, rules, history, and resources for those aiming for college or competitive play.
Engage – Energize girls with fun, interactive activities that spark a love for the game.
Exercise – Build confidence and competence on the course, fostering self-assurance off the course.
Enrich – Connect girls with positive female role models and mentors from the LPGA and teaching professionals.
Energize – Promote active, healthy lifestyles through fitness, nutrition, and the lifelong benefits of golf.
These Five E’s guide every lesson, helping girls develop skills, discover their talents, and unlock their full potential both on and off the course.
